Project Management Methodology Application on Company´s Project

Diploma thesis focuses on the development of parking building with commercial premises Rychtářka in Plzeň, which is realized in the form of public and private sector partnership. The thesis deals with effective application of project management methods in light of the general contractor Hermosa Parking Plzeň a.s. Information and knowledge gained in the theoretical part of the thesis are then used in the practical part for the design of project management methodics on development project Rychtářka. The outcome of practical part of the thesis is project management methodic, which should help to secure the optimal solution for complex structured process that leads to the realization of parking building Rychtářka and the compliance with all the specific characteristics of development projects.

The thesis analyse in detail the surroundings of the project in context of the International Students Club’s activities. The content of the bachelor thesis is the use of project management methods in practise, specifically in the creation of a new brand of Mamtex, s. r. o. First part is devoted to theoretical background, which one is then used for the practical part itself. The analytical part focuses on current procedures for planning and implementation of existing projects. Following this, the design part deals with the entire life cycle of the project from the first idea to its successful completion. The conclusion contains a summary of the project.

The diploma thesis is focused on the design of a map portal project for a voluntary association municipalities „Severovýchod“, which associates 43 municipalities, mainly from the Kyjov region. The map portal is commonly used by the municipality to administer the municipality. However, it also contains a number of data that are interesting to the general public. Due to the display of data directly in the map and the possibility of changing the underlying maps, this is an interesting form of data sharing.

These individual phases and each partial step are theoretically described and then practically used in the analysis of the current state and the design of the solution.
